3 Quick Steps to Success

Commitment is the secret to success. With this one big secret, the 3 quick success steps can be implemented into your life very easily. A commitment to success means it is a priority on the mind at all times.

Every action should be pointing toward someone's success goal. For example, even sleep is geared toward future success. Without sleep, poor health is a result which certainly takes someone far away from an important goal.

Along with a commitment to success, there needs to be a specific achievement in mind. Opening a business or winning a competition are two examples of specific achievements. Once you have an achievement in mind and you feel a strong commitment, you are ready for the 3 quick success steps.

Write these 3 steps down on an index card and read them multiple times a day as a way to focus your thinking:

  • Today and everyday I work toward a passionate promise.

  • Everyday I take at least one step closer to my passionate promise.

  • Today and everyday I recognize obstacles that slow me down or stop me.

These success steps summarize the persistence that is required especially when difficulties arise. Just accept the fact that stressful events will convince you to postpone or give up your dreams, but these 3 steps will help you keep a posi
tive dose of reality in mind so you don't give up for good.

When you choose a passion and want to achieve a goal toward that passion, you have made a passionate promise to yourself. The first quick step will remind you of that passionate promise. It is easy to let mundane chores turn off your passionate promise, but reading this everyday will help you see how the simplest tasks move you forward by keeping you healthy, alert, and organized.

No matter how busy you are with daily responsibilities such as getting the kids to their school functions, you can take a step closer to your dream no matter how small it is. A phone call or search for information moves you forward even if you think you are moving at a snail's pace.

The third quick success step is a reminder to keep improving yourself. Things will always get in the way, but recognizing that will prevent burnout. A fear of public speaking may be an obstacle for someone, but admitting it and realizing there are ways around it will keep the goal alive. Not having enough funds to meet a goal is a big downer but not a reason to give up. Use step 3 as a cheer leading point to brain storm creative ways to get around this problem.

Prevent setbacks from taking away your enthusiasm. Reciting these 3 quick success steps multiple times a day will ignite your brain cells to continue. Meet that passionate promise with excitement and a strong sense of purpose. Enjoy the journey!
