Creative Ideas For Better Self

Creative Ideas For Better Self

The concept of creative play is virtually foreign to most people especially those striving to be creative. As they create, they get hanged up on selecting the most fitting idea to planning and developing creative projects in the best detail, not letting go unless every aspect of the project is deemed to be perfect.

In general, creative ideas are usually geared towards producing ideal outcomes, something perfect for one to be exceptionally proud of. Naturally, you aspire to create the best creation which you know you are capable of. This is like an honorable ambition for everything you created and will create. However, oftentimes it gets too caught up with too much details and too much expectations that everything will turn out to be just perfect, as planned. This is the very thing that damages and hinders to your free creative flow.

Surely, you need to come up with some alternative plans at some extent as not to ruin your labors and aspirations. Have some creative ideas to better yourself, your potentials and your craft. Creating starts somewhere, typically with some concept or idea. But then, it did not have to be a fully realized idea in the mind. It could just popped out so suddenly out from nowhere. The best ideas sometimes just occur in the middle of creating something. Therefore, not all best concepts are those carefully planned and thought of. They can also be the out-of-the-blue stuffs.

So what are the creative ideas helpful enough for a better you? Try to take on few materials and give yourself some edge to work on your own and create just whatever you feel like doing. Like for instance, you have a flair for painting. Take put some blank canvas, a white paint and a blue paint and begin your new project by simply exploring wha
t you can come up with just only two colors. Doing so is experimenting and as you embark on such experiment exhibiting a playful attitude, ideas will form naturally.

In painting, you will find there a certain hue that you really like, or perhaps a collision of different colors that presents a particular emotion. On the other hand, in writing you will open up new rhythms of rhymes as you play and break away from reality. In dancing, you will find several variations of moves, making the whole dance unique and more personal in relation to your own distinct style.

All that are mentioned can only happen and be achieved if you create with an attitude of play and experimentation. Dare to go beyond the norm. Move further than usual. Do not contain yourself with too many limitations and apprehensions. Welcome changes and welcome new styles. Think, explore and experiment are the keys. If you try out new things, create new projects and from these, discover exciting techniques you have not used before. If you compare, creating fresh projects and creating ˇ°safe ones like the kinds that you kept doing before already with the same predictable approach, you will find out that the latter gives nothing but similar predictable outcome.

The creation and completion of some new project is not attained by intellect alone, instead, by the inner instinct generated by inner necessity. Providing your mind with opportunities to take part in something it loves carries out a lot of potential benefits. Forget about the finish product, instead, be prepared to play and enjoy. Do not pressure yourself on thinking too much of the end result. Let your natural creative power does its wonder on you. Let your creativity flow on its own. Have fun in what you do and put your heart on it. As a result, even with all its simplicity, you will be rewarded just by mere looking at what you can call as a masterpiece.

Very nice article. In my opinion, schools nowadays tend to stifle creativity. However, they didn't manage to stifle mine. :P

Nice article, perhaps an idea to continue it would be to give some advice on overcoming limitations and self-criticism - a basic precept of creativity is just 'to go with the flow' but we are often hindered by the idea that the products of our creative outlets (e.g. painting, writing) are not good enough or do not turn out how we intended.
