Life - Simplified


The way you lead your life is quite similar to the way you drive your car.

Engine is like your brain, car is like your body and the drive is like your life journey.


Car registration is like your birth certificate which tells you when you were born.

Seat belt is like confidence that you wear to face hiccups, while leading your life.

Air-bags are like insurance to minimise your pains in case you met an accident.

Indicator is like a signal for friends and families who are following you in their own car, informing them about your turns and whereabouts.

GPS is like your mentor to whom you can consult when you feel lost and seek appropriate direction.

Child restraint system helps you to take care of your children on-board and hence now part of your life journey.

Rear mirror are used to watch people who are following you.

Over-speeding is like taking random and quick decisions.

Collision are like disputes which you have with other people on your way.

You feed your brains and body in order to keep it running effectively in the same fashion you change oils and fill gas frequently to keep your car running smoothly.

You need to visit a doctor for regular check-ups the way you service your car or else you will land up in a hospital the way your car lands up in the workshop needing major repairs.

We wish that our life runs on a smooth highways with no humps and traffic lights and that we stay ahead of all other life drivers, however in reality no matter how fast you drive you will be amazed to find someone else driving ahead of you.

When you watch someone driving a better model you envy them and wish you were driving their car but don't forget that your car (body) is like a gift from the manufacturer (god) which you can't exchange with others. It stays with you during the entire journey from start till you reach your final destination. You can't choose your race/religion/culture/colour or brains. Similarly you don't have the liberty to choose the make/build/model/colour or engine capacity of your car. No matter how bad or sorry you feel about your current situation, you can neither exchange your body nor your life.

The more people you have in your car journey and hence dependent on your life, the more careful you will drive your life and avoid taking miscalculated risk as you feel more responsible of your actions.

At the end of your journey and with the order of the manufacturer (god), you are asked to return your car (body) back to him. However your soul remains forever and your journey of life will continue in a different make, build, model, colour and engine capacity based upon how well you drove your previous car.

Be happy with the model you have received, keep your car steering in your control, apply accelator/brake when YOU feel its required and drive safe.
