Hello there, Alex here Alias TheMarine. As I was going about my day today I came across this site and realize that I wasnt getting my daily fix on writing or helping people, so here it goes. Considering the fact that right now, this very instant I am still in my MOS School, I am limited on my contributions. I will however try and post on a daily basis. There are many instances where I am going about my day or what not, and then you spot someone who seems to be lost. They will be running an errand or going to purchase something or what not, and they just dont seem right. They seem to be lost within themselves, as if to just be going about the motions. Not really in control of what they are doing.
I cant stand seeing that, it fustrates me to know that some people are just wasting their valuable time and efforts not contributing to something that can one day benefit them. I can almost guarantee you that in ten years that same individual will still be there running the same ritual as they have since they got out of high school. At the same time you have other individuals who you dont really see until 3, 4 years after high school, and they seem to be holding the steering wheel of their lifes. For instance, theyll pull up to Starbucks in a new bmw really early in the morning while attending a confernce call on their blue tooth. I myself have r
an in to several buddies of mine that have gone down that path and well its not that they as a person have changed, or that they are different people. But more that anything they seem to be in control of themselves, they appear to know what they want out of life and they are going out and getting it.
And like in everything, there are exceptions to the rules. For example, lets call him Marty, Marty does drive a new BMW, and Marty is has a fairly well paying job he got after he got out of law school. Well to those that see Marty they might envy him, but in reality Marty isnt what he appears. Marty just barely was able to graduate from law school, he belly flopped the bar exam and the only reason he has the job he does is becuase he was hired by his dads law firm. Marty has been handed a key to an easy life. Does this make Marty a bad person, or someone to look down on, no, not really. Marty was blessed and im sure that if most of us had a opportunity to be in his shoes, we would jump right in.
Many people know what they want, or think they do. But thats where the similaraties end, it is at this point where people go their seprate ways. This isnt a rant or your 12 steps to get better, but more of a look at what works and look at the bad habits that dont work. It will be a get better through example if you will.
Im out of time for today but check back, as i will post often. Thanks for your time. Stay busy and productive
