1. First to start forming those deep admiring waves, you have to have the essentials to form and take care of them. You will need probably the most important thing is a brush. The brush dictates how deep your waves will be. Choosing the type of brush is totally up to the type of hair you have and you personally. Me personally, I like the stiff firm type of brushes.
2. Second thing you need is pomade, pomade holds and gives you're hair the nutrients it needs to grow and shine. The pomade I use is 360 Style by S curl, Murray's pomade, and deep wave by Wave Builder. You don't have to use these products; these are products I have recently tried.
3. Third thing you will need is a cap or durag to wear when you're at home or when you're going to sleep. The durage keeps the lent and all that from sticking to your hair and getting it dirty. I wear both a durag and cap.
4. Fourth thing is how you start the process on building your deep waves. first thing I do is get a warm or hot clothe to dampen your hair too loosen it up.(you c
an even put the water in with your hands if you feel it isn't damp enough). The second thing you want to do is you want to apply some pomade evenly to your hair, not a lot just enough, like a dime size. when your done putting the pomade in you hair, is when you get to step three. How you brush your hair. You should brush the top forward and the back down. The sides at an angle going down at an 45 degree angle. Brushing your hair is the most important part of forming deep waves. Brush like crazy!!! Whenever you have free time, brush…brush…brush!!! Brushing keeps your hair in line and in good condition.
5. Fifth and final thing is cutting your hair. Going to the barber is probably your best bet seeing they are professionals in cutting hair. Just don't choose any barber. Choose a barber you trust and know they want you looking your best. When go get your hair cut. Tell them that you want to continue your waves and ask them to cut with the grooves (the way you brush your hair/ the way the waves are forming).
That's how I got my deep waves and you can to. Thanks and enjoy building your deep waves.
