They say that life isn't easy, and every human experiences obstacles everyday. Remember those first steps you took when you were 10 months old? You probably don't, I don't, but chances are that like any child we all failed and ended up on our knees on the floor. But somehow we all found the power to get up again, and try it one more time, and then one more time till we perfected it. Why doesn't everything become as easy as walking, after you have attempted a couple of times?
Well, maybe the reason is because walking is a necessity, and a lot of the decisions we make in our lives are not life-or-death ones, a lot of other activities are not as essential for us to survive as walking is.
The kind of laptop a person buys, a Dell of Gateway won't
really shape the future of this person, but somehow a lot of us spend hours and hours trying to get the best deal, trying to get the newest product. What did we have in mind when we first thought about buying a laptop? Having a device where you can check your email or type up a paper. Does it really matter if the laptop has a camera embedded in it? You are not a photographer for God's sake!
This might seem like a very strange analogy, the laptop purchase example, but my point is that obstacles come at that point when we take our eyes off our goal.We perfect walking because it is essential in order to live. We seem to have trouble with the stuff that doesn't really matter. So focus on 1 thing, the thing you need, not the thing that will make your neighbor jealous, unless that is the purpose in your life.
