Wearing waterproof mascara daily requires a good eye makeup remover or else you will end up with the residue of the mascara under your eyes the following morning when you wake up. Leaving mascara on overnight is not good for your lashes and will lead to dry and brittle lashes.

Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover claims to be gentle according to the name and it also claims to remove waterproof mascara, the number one reason women use make up remover in the first place. They also claim that it does not leave an oily residue and is safe for sensitive skin and for contact lens wearers. It is dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested.
My Thoughts On Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
I really like the way this product feels on your skin under the eye area. It is indeed non-oily and does not leave any oily or greasy residue. I did not experience any sensitivity at all.
I used this product with both a waterproof formula of mascara and a non-waterproof formula of mascara. I found that it worked perfectly with the non-waterproof formula and removed all traces of mascara. Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover gets an A when using on non-waterproof mascara.
However, the waterproof mascara was another story. It removes some of the mascara and probably most of the mascara but you can't seem to get ALL of the mascara off no matter how many times you wipe your cotton ball over your eyelashes. I thought I had won the battle a couple of times only to observe the raccoon eyes the next morning when I looked in the mirror. Oh well!
