The tongue is more powerful than we know

People may often think that what they say doesn't really matter, or doesn't really effect someone. I am here to tell you they do. You often hear about physical abuse weather male or female but what is it when someone constantly puts you down, bewiddles you, curses at you. What about that ?When ever you bring up mental abuse or verbal abuse most often than not people turn their noses as if it's not really that important. You know, what it is. I have such low self- esteem issues because of what has been said to me and the verbal abuse I have had to gown through in my life. I know this has happened to alot of other people besides me and the majority of them just chose not to say anything. I think verbal or mental abuse should have just as much standing as physical
abuse it hurts just the same. So next time you are in the heat of an argument with someone think first what you say really does matter it's not just words to someone else. Word's can cut like a knife. Guess that's why I have always heard it say the tongue is like a double-edged sword it certainly is. With the way this world is today we should be looking at how we can build one another up ,not put down ,or tear down.

When you say something out of anger and then you regert it later you really can't take it back, it's hard to forget something that was said. Just like we should think before we act well we should think before speak, out of our mouths can come blessing or cursing, so chose to bless instead of curse. Love one another and remeber the golden rule treat others the way you would want to be treated.

Tomgue cannot be controlled if you try to take it by itself as an independent entity. It is the whole structure of your life/your mind that determines how yhe tongue behaves. Upgrade your life to a higher level - that is the key

This article indeed has direction. It should be noted by all but there is more to it than making a choice as to how to use the tongue. One's upbringing and exposure are important.

This article has a sense of purpose but making a choice with the use of the tongue goes some more miles. One's level of exposure matters a lot.
