The problem isn't whether or not you're capable to be innovative and creative, but is often whether or not you're allowing yourself to be one. There are times when you perceive yourself as someone who wouldn't recognize innovation/creativity, even if it knocked at your head. Nevertheless, you shouldn't give up on enhancing your creative and innovative side. All it takes, is for you to unleash it through simple techniques.

Innovation/creativity techniques are like tools in an enormous tool box that has everything you will ever need to build your house. But, the key is choosing the right tools, and using them the right way. Here are some helpful tips to unleash your innovation/creativity potentials:

Create Everyday

Like any other skill or talent, when your innovation/creativity potential has a regular schedule in which they can come out and be enhanced, it becomes more willing to reveal itself and its talents. Have a daily routine that takes on creative work, instead of waiting for something to turn up that will requires it. Like flowers, innovation/creativity needs daily nurturing or else they wither and die.

When other people give you ideas about the real issue and the things you can do to solve them, write them down. You can re-interpret or develop the ideas they provided, so that it becomes more applicable for you. A creative individual needs to have an inspiration to trigger creativity. Whether designing a gown, writing a poem, developing a website, or other things ¨Cyou'll need lots of inspiration. There are so many ways to find inspiration, including taking a walk, browsing through bookstores or libraries, going to museums, surfing the web, watching movies, keeping a journal, talking with creative people, and even by simply not stressing out. Releasing the innovation/creativity potentials you have, will help you in improving yourself towards something that can bring you more satisfaction, enjoyment, and self-esteem. Remember innovation/creativity is a mind state, and isn't something that you lack. Bring it out, use it, and enhance it.
