Here goes,

Has anyone ever worked in fast food? Or any other job that deals with a lot of customers? Well, I'm pretty sure if you have, then you would have probably delt with a customer that was trying to make a scene. I currently am still in high school and work in fast food to earn some pocket money. As the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months, I noticed something. It's as if some customers are just waiting to give you trouble. For example, today a customer ordered something that was still in the process of cooking, so i told the gentleman it was gonna take awhile ( roughly 15 minutes, I told him that). He in turn replied with, "Oh thats fine, could you make sure its only legs and ribs?" I in turn said no problem and carried on packing other orders. Twenty minutes pass before I had the man his order, and he in turn ends up complaining and yelling at me TRYING to make a scene saying how he had waited forever (45 minutes were his words) and that i should tell whoever runs the shop to get his act together and a hole bunch of blah blah blah (stopped paying attention after i knew he was gonna rant for some time). As someone who works in fast food, you know "The Customer is Always Right" so I appologised and tried to calm the guy as much as i could. He later storms out and you get the wierd feeling of all the other people looking at you. I later checked how long it took to get his order out, it turns out it only took around 18 minutes, not too bad since i said it was gonna take 15. Like what the hell? Are people trying on purposely to make others who work for minimum wage life a living hell? To over exaggerate for their own benifit just to make it seem that they have a legitimate reason to make a scene? To me, that just seems like someone isn't satisfied with something in their own life and take their fustration on someone they know that can't argue back.
